Stargazing Live with Wycombe Astro Society

Come and join Wycombe Astronomical Society's Stargazing Live Event on 10th and 11th January 2014 at Woodrow House near Amersham Bucks. This is a Free event in support of the fantastic BBC Stargazing Live program that will be aired from 7th January 2014, and is suitable for all ages and experience levels.

Both evenings start at 7:30pm and will go on late into the evening.  Our aim is to show you a collection of night sky objects using a range of member's telescopes as well as our large Celestron C11 Telescope housed in a purpose built observatory. There will be plenty of people on hand who will be happy to share experiences and discuss various aspects of Astronomy and Stargazing.

We will be erecting marquees and Tring Astronomy Centre will be displaying a range of beginner telescopes, binoculars and accessories, so even in the event of rain there will be lots to see and talk about.
